Hi, I’m Emily
I want to help you feel a little less shitty.
My own experiences with anxiety, depression led me toward questions about identity, belonging, and what helps people feel less alone.
My style is warm, relational, curious, and direct. I care about insight, but I am also interested in what happens beyond insight. I may gently challenge avoidance, over-accommodation, self-abandonment, or familiar relationship patterns while making room for honesty, humor, uncertainty, and ordinary human messiness.
I have been in private practice since 2015 and am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I also bring humor, a background in the beauty industry, a love of music and creative projects, and a genuine interest in how people become who they are.
My hope is to help people feel more honest, connected, flexible, and at home in their own lives.
My services
-
I love working with folks new to the therapy process, folks who are currently in couples therapy but need some extra short or long term support, and fellow healers, leaders, and teachers who need a safe place to unpack their own "stuff" so that they can be more present in their personal and professional lives.
-
I work with people who are struggling to heal ruptures in their relationships and find new ways to communicate. I help find a third language to bridge the gaps to connection with others.
-
I currently run two (full) groups for women with body image concerns and body focused repetitive behaviors. I am also in the process of forming a therapeutic group focusing on interpersonal relationships for folks who are finding it difficult to find their "tribe".
-
I am available for consultation, mentorship and coaching for other healers who need a new perspective on current cases and professional challenges.
